Dr. Sarah P. Elliott, MD

Dr. Elliott's Education & Training: Graduated in 1993 from George Washington University School of Medical and Health Science, in Washington DC.

After completion of her Pediatric Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, she moved to Wadesboro two weeks after graduation to begin working in Anson County.

Dr. Elliott has served Anson County and the surrounding area since 1996. She opened her own practice, Anson Pediatrics, in 2002, and was joined by Dr. Olivia E. Peters, MD FAAP.

Dr. Elliott has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1996.

Dr. Olivia E. Peters, MD

Dr. Peter's Education & Training: Graduated in 2005 from George Washington University School of Medical and Health Science in Washinton DC. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore MD.

After completion of her Pediatric Residency, she moved to Wadesboro one month later to begin working in Anson County.

Dr. O. E. Peters has been a Board Certified Pediatrician by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2008.

Advanced Care Team

Resi Ledbetter, MA, Office Manager

Our advanced care team collaborates and communicates to provide “whole person” care to the patients we serve. We partner with patients, their families, and specialists to enhance the well-being of the patient according to their unique needs. We provide patient-centered care and encourage our patients to. participate in their own care at the level they choose.

Our Advanced Care Team supports our primary care physicians in their efforts to deliver effective patient centered care. We are dedicated to coordinating and working together to ensure the highest quality of care is provided throughout our practice.

Triage (Resi L., MA)

provides triage services by phone and in our office when needed.

Patient Care Coordinator (Resi L., MA)

provides case management services when needed and assists with coordination of care and follow up.

Health Coach (Resi L., MA)

assistant and staff members to review immunization rates and provide patient appointments to keep patients current.

Behavioral Health Management

Anson Pediatrics has entered a co-management agreement with 21st Century Counseling, PLLC in Rockingham, NC. The agreement was made to offer the best therapy and psychiatric services to our patients. Please feel free to contact them if in need of behavioral health services.

Anson Pediatrics is committed to providing the access to behavioral health services. In-office, we screen for depression in adolescents using the Beck’s Depression Inventory and the Edinburgh (EPDS) for newborn mothers. As part of our co-management agreement, Anson Pediatrics has a protocol in place to provide a referral to behavioral health services should these screening yield a positive result.
